Three-year-old boy knocked down in Tranent

A three-year-old boy has been knocked down by a car in Tranent.

The accident happened on Haddington Road just after 11am this morning (Tuesday).

He was rushed to Edinburgh's Sick Kids hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
