Three men have been arrested and charged after cannabis worth an estimated street value of around £550,000 was seized in a West Lothian village.

Police raided a property on Bishops Park in Mid Calder on Tuesday after receiving intelligence.

The trio, aged 21, 24 and 28, were due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday

Detective Constable David Crighton said: “This significant recovery highlights our ongoing commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
