Three arrested after alleged stabbing at Glasgow school

Police have arrested two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old in connection with the alleged stabbing of a teenager outside a Glasgow school.

Emergency services were called to the north-east of the city around 11.30am on Wednesday where a 14-year-old boy was hurt.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as serious.

A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: ā€œWe can confirm the police attended the school following a serious incident outside the gates at morning interval.

ā€œThe school is working with police during this live, ongoing investigation and supporting pupils, families and staff."

The trio are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
