The Lothians, Fife and Forth Valley targeted during 3-month spate of break-ins across Scotland
A man, 22 and 16-year-old hit 49 locations in total
A man, 22 and teenager, 16, have been charged following 49 break-ins and thefts across Scotland, including the Lothians, Fife and Forth Valley.
The pair are also said to have targeted locations in North Lanarkshire and Glasgow over a three-month period.
The dozens of incidents took place between 28 September and 28 November.
The 22-year-old is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court of Thursday.
Detective Inspector John Murphy, Livingston CID, said: “We understand the impact this type of crime has on the community and we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to find those responsible.”
