Teenager charged after Falkirk "possible weapon" incident
An imitation firearm has been recovered by police
A teenage boy has been charged after police were called to Falkirk on Friday after reports of a man with a “possible weapon”.
Officers searched the area near Callendar Park, and an imitation firearm was recovered from a 14 year old boy.
Earlier in the day some local schools had been secured, and specialist officers assisted in the search alongside a police helicopter.
The boy has been charged in connection and police say a report will be sent to the relevant authority.
