Teenager Arrested After Car Taken With Dog Inside
A teenager has been arrested after a car with a dog inside was allegedly stolen in the north of Edinburgh.
The two-year-old Beagle was in a silver Honda CRV which was taken from Willowbank Row in Edinburgh at about 12.25pm on Friday.
The dog was found unharmed in Redbraes Place at about 2pm by a member of the public who contacted officers, and the pet was reunited with its owner.
Police Scotland said a 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a car.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
