Taxi Driver charged after Edinburgh crash

A taxi driver’s been charged on suspicion of careless driving after three women were injured in a crash in Edinburgh’s Cowgate.

A taxi driver’s been charged on suspicion of careless driving after three women were injured in a crash in Edinburgh’s Cowgate.

The women, who were passengers in the taxi, are being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following the accident, which happened at around 9.20pm on Saturday night.

Police have confirmed a 64-year-old man’s been arrested and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
