Potato spillage causes East Lothian road closure

An overturned tractor has caused traffic disruption in East Lothian, by spilling its load of potatoes across the road.

It happened on the A1 at the Thistly Cross Roundabout near Dunbar at around 7.45am on Wednesday.

Drivers had to be diverted via the A199 while work to clear up the tatties took place.

Traffic Scotland later reported the road had re-opened at around 9.40am.

Police Scotland said it is not aware of any injuries.
