A week after landing in Scotland, Inverness judo star Stephanie Inglis has taken to social media to thank her supporters.

The 27-year-old’s was given a 1 per cent chance of survival following a motorbike crash in Vietnam, but she’s defied all the odds and is now being treated at Edinburgh’s Western General.

The Glasgow 2014 medallist is still recovering from severe head injuries, but she’s been able to type a message to fans who have been wishing her well:

A Go Fund Me Page set up to help cover Stephanie’s medical bills raised over £300,000 in just one month. Now the judoka is back organisers of the page plan to close it down later this week.
