Six people charged over attack on Raith Rovers fan

A total of six people have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attack on a Raith Rovers fan.

The assault of the 18-year-old reportedly happened after the club's match against Dunfermline on 2 January.

He was taken to hospital for treatment following the attack.

Those arrested are aged between 14 and 20 and will appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court at a later date.

A video on social media shows the boy being punched and kicked by while he was lying on the ground.

The teenager's hearing aid was damaged during the incident.

Police Scotland have said their enquiries are ongoing.
