Seventh person dies in Scottish water in single weekend

A man has died in hospital after being pulled from Loch Lubnaig in Stirlingshire on Sunday.
Aman Sharma, 35, was swimming with friends before the tragedy around 4pm.
He has become the seventh person to lose their life in Scottish water in a single weekend, after a number of tragic incidents.
In a post online, friend Kawaldeep Singh, said: "Everything was going well until 4pm when Aman went into the lake.
"It was busy with tourists and local swimmers, who tried to help him, but unfortunately we were not able to pull him out of the water on time.
"A doctor and member of the fire brigade from the crowd came and helped to give Aman CPR until medical assistance arrived.
Aman was admitted to the intensive care unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
But Kawaldeep says he passed away on Tuesday, July 27.
He has now started a crowdfunder page to raise money for Aman's parents to travel from India.
Weekend of tragedy
Aman's death comes after six others lost their lives in Scottish waters in 24 hours.
Nine-year-old Rana Haris Ali, his mum Edina Olahova, 29, and family friend Muhammad Asim Riaz, 41, died after getting into difficulty at Pulpit Rock on Loch Lomond on Saturday evening.
A 16-year-old boy died in the water at Balloch Country Park, at the south end of Loch Lomond, on Friday.
He has been named as Connor Markward, from the east end of Glasgow.
An 11-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene after being found in the river at Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park in Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire, at 4.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
And a 13-year-old boy died in Hazelbank in Lanark on Saturday evening.
