On Saturday afternoon Hibs beat Rangers 3-2 at Hampden in a nail-biting Scottish Cup Final - the first time the Easter Road club has brought the Scottish Cup home since 1902. To celebrate the historic victory, the Provost will host a private reception for Hibernian Football Club this afternoon before the players embark on a public victory parade through the streets of Edinburgh at 15:30. The parade will see players board a gold open-top bus with the Scottish Cup at the Lothian Chambers before heading down the High Street and on towards Leith, culminating at Leith Links. The route of the parade is: Lawnmarket – High Street – North Bridge – Princes St – Leith St – Picardy Place – Leith Walk – Constitution Street – Queen Charlotte St – John’s Place – Duncan Place – Leith Links Lord Provost Donald Wilson said: "What a historic victory for Hibernian Football Club! Many congratulations to Hibs for bringing the Scottish Cup home. No matter what colour scarf you wear or where you live, I'm sure all football fans in the city will recognise this is a time for celebration. I think it's fair to say the weather forecast is for sunshine on Leith this Sunday." The public are being warned that there will be a degree of disruption to traffic while the event is ongoing, however every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.

Mark Martin on Sunday afternoon at Forth 1 will keep you up-to-date on the latest with the victory parade and traffic disruption in and around Edinburgh.
