Ross Ford, Scotland Rugby's most capped player, is to retire from the game.

The 35-year-old made his senior club debut in 2004 and played his last game against Fiji in 2017.

The hooker has racked up 110 caps for the national team over his career, a record breaking number.

He will now take up a role helping the next generation of players at the Scottish Rugby Academy.
