Second-hand tickets for the Rolling Stone's Murrayfield gig are being sold online for 13 times their face value.

Professional touts often use platforms such as StubHub, Viagogo and Seatwave to flog tickets for concerts exclusively for profit.

Now, with just days to go until the iconic rock band perform in the capital tickets are being sold at an extortionate price despite the gig not being sold out.

One example on StubHub shows tickets with a face value of £179.95 being sold for £2,400.

Adam Webb is from campaign group 'Fanfair Alliance'. He says: "When people are looking for tickets on search engines, you'll find these sites come at the top of the search. Even when there are still face value tickets available.

"It's not against the law to re-sell a ticket, but the issue is that you have a core of dedicated sellers and they are very adept at purchasing large numbers of tickets from the market and then using these secondary platforms to make profit. Then it looks like these are the only places to get tickets.

"It has become quite an issue."
