Robert Carlyle, Emma Thompson and David Tennant lead BAFTA Scotland Nominations
Robert Carlyle, David Tennant and Emma Thompson are among those nominated for Scotland's annual Bafta awards.
A total of 20 trophies will be handed out to honour the best work produced in film, television and games at a ceremony in Glasgow on November 15.
The Legend of Barney Thomson leads the way with four nominations in the film actor, film actress, film/television director and feature film categories.
Directed by and starring Robert Carlyle, the movie premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival earlier this year.
Television drama Stonemouth, which was adapted from Iain Banks' novel, received three nominations for television actor (Peter Mullan), television actress (Charlotte Spencer) and television drama.
Movies 16 Years Till Summer and What We Did On Our Holiday joined The Legend of Barney Thomson in the feature film category, while Glasgow Girls and Shetland completed the television drama category.
Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) and Sharon Rooney (My Mad Fat Diary) join Charlotte Spencer to compete for best television actress category, while Peter Mullan is up against Mark Bonnar (Catastrophe) and Ken Stott (The Missing) for best television actor.
David Elliot (Kajaki: The True Story) and David Tennant (What We Did On Our Holiday) are nominated alongside Robert Carlyle in the film actor category, while Elena Anaya, Elizabeth McGovern (both Swung) and Emma Thompson (The Legend of Barney Thompson) will compete for best film actress.
Three outstanding achievement awards will also be handed out on the night.
