Rangers call Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe punishments 'severe'
The Ibrox side are also welcoming Ondrej Kudela's ten match ban
Rangers are welcoming UEFA's decision to ban Ondrej Kudela for ten matches.
The Slavia Prague defender was found guilty of racist behaviour in their at Ibrox last month.
The club say they have written to European football's governing body seeking clarification on suspensions handed to Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe.
Kamara is due to miss three games for assaulting 'another player' while Kemar Roofe will sit out of four following his challenge on goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar.
A club statement said: "Rangers notes the UEFA disciplinary decision relating to our fixture v Slavia Prague at Ibrox on 18th March.
"We welcome the suspension imposed on Ondrej Kudela. This not only vindicates Glen Kamara’s evidence but underlines the severity of the comment, given the maximum number of games has been imposed by UEFA.
"Nevertheless, we believe the sanctions imposed on our two players (Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe) are severe. We have written to UEFA, seeking clarification in writing on the basis that we intend to appeal the suspensions on both of players".
