Quarry Death Teenager Named By Police
A teenager whose body was found at a quarry has been named by police.
The body of John McKay, 18, from Fife, was recovered from Prestonhill Quarry in Inverkeithing.
Emergency services were called to the scene after a report of a man in the water at around 9.20pm last Thursday.
Mr McKay's body was recovered the following day. Inquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances of his death and a report has been prepared for the procurator fiscal, Police Scotland said.
Another 18 year old - Cameron Lancaster - died after jumping into water at the quarry in August last year.
