Puppies Stolen In West Lothian

Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses after nine dogs were stolen from kennels at a home in Winchburgh yesterday. Seven Shi Tzu puppies and two full-grown lurchers were kidnapped from the property in Glendevon Park at some point between 7.30am and 6pm yesterday. The Shi Tzu puppies are tan and white in colour. The lurchers have pale gold rough coats and are working dogs. They are all thought to be worth around £650 each. Officers are urging anyone who can assist them with their inquiries to get in touch. Police Constable Rachel Royan said; "At eight weeks old the puppies are too young to have left their mother, who was not taken, and the owners are extremely concerned for their welfare. "We would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in or around Glendevon Park yesterday to please get in touch as we are keen to reunite them with their owners."
