Pot Noodle has recalled a batch of it's Beef and Tomato flavour after a "production error" led to allergy scares.

Unilever, which makes the product, say that some packs haven't listed allergens mustard and celery on the ingredients list but that the product "may contain" these.

The batch code is L9282 and the affected pots have a Best Before date of July 2020, which can be found on the white rim of the pot.

A note on the companies website says that it's only one batch that's been affected:

"We are taking the voluntary precaution of recalling this batch and can confirm that no other Pot Noodle Beef & Tomato batches or other Pot Noodle products are affected.

"Consumers are being advised not to consume this product due to the risk of allergies and to discard it in their bins at home."
