A man is in hospital after he was stabbed in an attack in Fife that police are treating as attempted murder.
The man suffered serious injuries when he was assaulted in the Loch Leven Gardens area of Lochore, Fife, on Sunday afternoon.
He managed to make his way to Loch Leven Road and was found outside the Co-op shop at around 4.30pm.

Police said their inquiries so far suggest he may have been injured by two men.
They appealed for information about the incident. Detective Inspector Colin Robson, of Dunfermline CID, said: We're continuing to conduct extensive inquiries and I'd like to thank the local community for their help so far.
I'd urge anyone who witnessed the attack and has not yet spoken to officers to contact us as soon as possible.
We're eager to trace a dark-coloured BMW car and a Ford Transit-type van that were seen in the area around this time.
Anyone who may have seen these vehicles, or who has any other information which can assist, is also asked to get in touch.''
