Police seize several stolen cars and 10k of drugs during Whitburn raids

Police have said they found several stolen cars and drugs worth around £10,000 pounds during two raids in Whitburn.

They targeted addresses in Ramsay Place on Tuesday.

Vehicles, mostly Ford's, and controlled drugs believed to be cannabis with an estimated street value of £10,000 were recovered and subsequently seized.

A four-figure sum of cash was also confiscated.

A 31-year old man's been charged and is due at Livingston Sheriff Court today (Wednesday).

Detective Sergeant John Irvine, West Lothian CID, said: "I want to reassure communities that we will thoroughly investigate all reports of vehicle theft and would remind people to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police”.
