Livingston woman killed in three-car crash was 'loving, caring mother'

Tributes have been paid to a Livingston woman killed in a three car crash in the town.

Leeane Aitken from the Ladywell area was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on Cousland Road at 3:20pm on Wednesday (8 Jan).

In a statement, her family said: "Leeane was a loving, caring mother, daughter and sister.

"She always had an ear for anyone that needed it and always a shoulder to cry on, she would do her utmost to help anyone out and offer guidance.

"She will be missed dearly, but loved always."

Sergeant John Easton said: "Our investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident.

"We would appeal to anyone who may have seen this crash or who might have dash-cam footage to speak to officers."
