Police name pedestrian killed in three vehicle crash

A pedestrian who died in a three vehicle crash on the A726 Queensway in East Kilbride has been named as 35-year-old John Paul McGinty.

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway of the road east of the roundabout junction with Murrayhill and Cornwall Street shortly after 6.30pm last night.

Police said enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2829 of 7 December.
