Police name man found dead in Edinburgh
Three people have appeared in court in connection with Stephen Grant's death
Police have named a man found dead in Edinburgh last week.
Stephen Grant, 49, died following an incident at Magdalene Drive on Sunday evening.
Three people appeared at the city's sheriff court on Tuesday charged with his murder.
His family said in a statement: “Stephen was a very much loved father, uncle, great uncle, brother, friend and most of all son.
“With his presence he gave many people laughter and joy by lighting up the room when he walked in. He was a lover of Chelsea and Rangers football clubs.”
The family thanked police officers and emergency services workers for their help and support.
Ashleigh Wallace, 26, Patrick Herbert, 36, and Shaun Wallace, 18, have all been charged with murder.
They made no plea during their private court appearance, were remanded in custody and the case was continued for further examination.
They are due to make a second court appearance later this month.
