Police Issue CCTV Image Over Dunfermline Attack

Police have issued CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Dunfermline. A 36-year-old man suffered a facial injury during the attack at around 11.30pm on Thursday 30th October in Pilmuir Street. Officers are askng for anyone who can help them identify the man in the image to get in touch. He is described as white, mid twenties with a muscular build, short dark hair that is closely shaved in at the sides and heavy facial hair. He was wearing a light-coloured short-sleeved t-shirt, dark jeans and had visible tattoos on his arms. Sergeant Neil McGurk said: “Since this incident occurred we have been pursuing various lines of local enquiry to trace the suspect. "The man in this CCTV footage is of interest to our investigation and anyone who believes they may know who he is should contact police immediately."
