Police investigating attempted bank robbery in Edinburgh

Police in Edinburgh are investigating an attempted bank robbery in the city.

Officers were called to the TSB bank in Clerk Street at around 1:30pm on Monday.

The suspect is described as being in his 50s, he was wearing a black furry hat, a black coat and possibly spoke with a Russian accent.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.
