Police investigating alleged rape at Peter Vardy showroom in Edinburgh

Police in Edinburgh are carrying out investigations after a woman was allegedly raped at a car showroom in Edinburgh.

Officers were called to Peter Vardy BMW premises on Seafield Road at around 1.35pm on Sunday November 3 following reports of a serious sexual assault.

Police say a 34 year old man was arrested in connection, and has since been released pending further inquiries.

They say investigations are ongoing.
