Police investigating after man found with serious head injuries in Broxburn

Police are appealing for information after a man was found with serious head injuries in Broxburn.

Emergency services were called to a property on West Main Street in the town just before 5 o'clock last night, March 31.

There they found a 35-year-old man with serious head injuries. He was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is currently in a critical condition.

Now officers are trying to establish how the man sustained the injuries and if any criminality is involved.

Police know the man left 'The Club' bar on Greendykes Road at around 3:15am on Sunday - but his movements after that aren't known.

They are now looking to hear from anyone who may be able to help them piece together what happened.
