Woman injured after altercation between youths
The incident happened in Dalkeith over the weekend
An investigation is underway after a woman was assaulted in Dalkeith.
The 58-year-old sustained injuries after being pushed over while a group of youths argued in the Jarnac Court and High Street area around 8.50pm on Sunday 30 April.
Police said the person involved is a 16-year-old girl believed to be around 16-years old.
She is described as having a medium to heavier build and she was wearing a vest top with her hair tied up in a bun.
Detective Constable Gordon Wilson said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may be able to help to come forward.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area around that time.
