Police have released an image of a man that they want to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Edinburgh.

The incident took place around 7.20pm on Sunday, 17 July 2021, on Windsor Street.

A 24-year-old man was verbally abused and assaulted by two males, sustaining facial injuries that needed hospital treatment.

The man pictured, is described as a white male, of slim build, 5ft 5 to 5ft 9 inches tall and between 15 and 18 years old.

He has light brown or blond hair and was wearing a black t-shirt with a white logo on the front with black Nike shorts, grey trainers and a black rucksack.

Officers are asking him or anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
