Plans considered to overhaul Sheriffhall roundabout
But they'd take years to complete.
Plans are being considered to sort out the tailbacks at the Sheriffhall roundabout on Edinburgh city bypass.
Transport bosses are looking at three detailed options allowing drivers on the route will avoid the traffic lights.
The dual carriageway would pass the junction with either a flyover or underpass.
The project would likely take years to complete, and is also made more complicated by old mineworkings and a geological fault which lies under the roundabout.
The plans are going on display at the Sheriffhall park and ride today and tomorrow between 12pm and 7pm.
