One person has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a pedestrian and car in Edinburgh.

Trinity Crescent, between Craighall Road and Trinity Road, has been closed and drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Trinity Crescent, between Craighall Road and Trinity Road, is closed as emergency services deal with a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

“One person has been taken to hospital.

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route.”
