Pensioner dies in sheltered housing complex fire in Rosyth
Other residents had to be led to safety.
A pensioner's died following a fire at a sheltered housing complex in Rosyth.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Walter Hay Court in at about 10am on Friday.
Four fire engines were sent to the incident.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said residents were moved to safety in another area of the complex.
An investigation has been launched and police appealed for information.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: Police in Fife are in attendance following a fire at an address in Walter Hay Court, Rosyth.
The incident happened around 10am on Friday, December 16.
Police and emergency services are currently at the scene and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.''
