Pair held after £55,000 drugs seized in Kincardine raids

A man and woman are due in court later in connection.

Two people have been arrested after £55,000 of drugs were found during police raids in Fife.

Officers found 550g of heroin and 40g of cannabis in searches in Kincardine on Friday, with a combined estimated street value of £55,000.

The drugs were discovered when detectives executed search warrants at addresses in Rosebank Gardens and Mercer Street.

A 27-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the drugs bust and are expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.
