Anderson now looks to have committed himself to Steve Clarke's side after being announced in the squad for upcoming matches against Cyprus and England.

He is part of the 25-man squad that also includes Scott McKenna and Che Adams on their return from injury.

Scotland face Cyprus in Larnaca in a crucial Euro 2024 qualifier next Fridaybefore hosting England in a their 150th Anniversary Heritage Match at Hampden on Tuesday, 12 September.
