New Sick Kids hospital prepares to open to patients in two weeks

With two weeks until it opens to patients, we've been getting a final look round the new Sick Kids hospital.

The £150m building at Little France is set to open to the public on July 6.

The state-of-the-art development features 242 beds, 10 theatres and 13 wards and will take over from the old facility at Sciennes Road in the city centre.

Patients currently residing in the old building will be transported to the new site near the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
