Neil Lennon announced as Dunfermline manager
Neil Lennon has been announced as the new Dunfermline manager.
The East End Park side are second bottom of the Scottish Championship, six points clear of automatic relegation but one point behind Hamilton as they look to avoid the play-offs.
The Pars sacked Michael Tidser on Monday after just two months in charge.
Lennon was most recently in the charge of Romanian side Rapid Bucuresti - but was sacked last year, just three months into a two-year-contract.
The former Celtic and Hibernian boss will be in the dugout next weekend against promotion-chasing Ayr United, who are managed by his former Celtic captain Scott Brown.
