Mother In Tribute To Young Crash Victim
The mother of a teenage boy killed in a car crash has paid tribute to her "much loved son".
Brian Phimister died when the car in which he was a passenger crashed into a tree.
The 16-year-old died at the scene of Friday's collision, on the A955 between Dysart and Coaltown of Wemyss in Fife.
The teenager's mother, who has chosen not to be named, said: "Brian was a much loved son and brother and his presence will be sadly missed by everyone he knew.''
The 18-year-old man driving the car was seriously injured in the collision, which happened at around 12.50am on June 5.
The road was closed until 4pm that day while emergency services carried out investigations.
Police have appealed for information about the crash, which involved a BMW 3 Series car.
