Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 13-year-old Mary MacAuley who is missing from Edinburgh

Mary was last seen in the Ferry Road area of the city on Saturday, 8th October, 2022.

She is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall with long brown hair and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a grey North Face jumper and blue ripped-effect jeans.

Sergeant Davie Crow, Drylaw Police Station, Edinburgh, said: “We know that Mary has been using public transport to get about the city and so would ask anyone who has seen her recently on a bus to get in touch.

“Although she has been active on social media, no one has actually seen her since she was reported missing so we need to make sure she is safe and well.

“If you have any information as to where she is, then please call officers on 101 quoting reference number 3864 of 8 October, 2022.”
