Missing Edinburgh pensioner found safe and well

A man who went missing from his home in Edinburgh has been traced safe and well.

Michael McLenaghan, 72, was last seen around 9am on Friday in the South Morningside area and police were concerned about his welfare.

A keen hillwalker, he was found on Friday afternoon in the Aviemore area.

A spokesman said: Police in Edinburgh can confirm that Michael McLenaghan has now been traced safe and well.

He was found around 4.35pm in the Aviemore area.''
