A man has been charged with road traffic offences.
A man has been charged after school kids were taken to hospital following a crash between a minibus and a car in Midlothian this morning.
Our senior reporter, Bryan Rutherford said: "This was a Midlothian school bus.
"It was carrying five children to Hawthorn Family Learning Centre when the crash happened.
"That was this morning around 9am at Lady Brae in Gorebridge.
"The children onboard the minibus were taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh as a precaution, but none of them needed medical treatment, so they were all released from care.
"And the police are telling me a 56-year-old man has been charged with road traffic offences."
