Memorial service for Antoine Maury to take place this weekend
A 'celebration of life' service will take place in Edinburgh this weekend.
A memorial service for French student Antoine Maury, whose body was discovered in Duddingston loch, will be held in Edinburgh this weekend.
His parents have organised a 'celebration of life' service at Duddingston Kirk Parish Church for this Saturday.
The 21-year-old's body was found in the Loch earlier this month, after a major search operation involving police, mountain rescue teams and divers.
The Edinburgh College student went missing on the 24th of October following a night of socialing with friends at the College's Milton Road East Campus.
Antoine's Mum Laura has now urged those attending this weekend's service to wear kilts and scottish attire, as it reflects his love for the country and culture.
A report on Antoine's death has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
