Man to stand trial charged with murder of Kirkcaldy dad-of-one
James Beveridge died on the 15th of this month.
A man is to stand trial charged with the murder of a father-of-one in Kirkcaldy.
James Beveridge, 41, was rushed to hospital on Saturday 15th October following an incident on Farne Court.
He was described as being in a critical condition in the aftermath of the incident, in the Fife town's Templehall area.
However, he later passed away at Victoria Hospital.
William Paterson, 45, of Methil, appeared at the town's sheriff court charged over the killing.
Facing a single charge of murder on petition he made no plea or declaration.
Following a brief private hearing Paterson the case was fully committed for trial and Paterson was remanded in custody ahead further court dates being set.
