Man seriously injured in Midlothian attack

A man has been left seriously injured after an attack in Midlothian.
The 36-year-old was left with serious head injuries after being assaulted on Penicuik High Street at 2am on Monday, September 3.
He was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is now being treated.
Police say they are now following a positive line of inquiry.
