Man seriously injured after being hit by bus in Bonnyrigg

A man has been left seriously injured after being struck by a car in Bonnyrigg this morning.

The accident happened on Eskbank Road at 8:30am.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and the pedestrian was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Police inquiries are ongoing.
