Man seriously injured after broad daylight attack in Edinburgh city centre
A 32 year old man was attacked earlier today.
A man's been seriously injured after he was violently attacked in broad daylight in Edinburgh city centre.
The 32 year old was targeted on Waterloo Place near Princes Street Suites at around 12.40pm this lunchtime (27th July).
A major investigation's been launched.
The man's condition isn't thought to be life threatening.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police are in attendance at an incident on Waterloo Place, Edinburgh, where a 32 year old man was injured.
"Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and at an early stage."
