Man seriously injured after car flipped onto roof near Falkirk
Police are appealing for witnesses
A 44-year-old man is seriously injured in hospital after his purple Mini Cooper flipped onto its roof near Falkirk.
His car overturned as he was driving east on Vellore Road, near to Almond Road in Maddiston at 10.20 last night.
He was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he remains for treatment. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable. He was the only person in the car
Sergeant Jill Kirkpatrick of Edinburgh Road Policing Unit, said: “We are looking to speak to anyone who may have any information relating to this crash.
"The 44-year-old man has suffered serious injuries are we are asking for assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"If anyone has any information or possible dashcam footage that could help, please get in contact with officers.
"Police can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 4393 of Friday, 22 August, 2020.”
