Man remains in hospital after Edinburgh attack
The 35-year-old and a woman were 'seriously' assaulted on Saughton Mains Street on Thursday
Police in Edinburgh are investigating after a man and woman were seriously assaulted on Saughton Mains Street.
Officers were first called to Stenhouse Drive around 5:30pm on Thursday, but later confirmed the incident happened nearby. They believe those involved knew each other.
A 38-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were taken to hospital - the woman has since been released, while the man remains under care.
Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to call 101, quoting incident 2761 of 27 February 2025.
