Man killed by Edinburgh tram named

A man killed by an Edinburgh tram yesterday has been named by police.

53-year-old Carlos Palacio was seriously injured when he was hit by a tram at the Saughton stop just after noon.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but couldn't save him. An investigation in to what caused the accident continues.
