Man In Hospital After Becoming Impaled On Metal Railings
A man's been taken to hospital after being impaled - apparently through the head - on metal railings in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Dundas Street at around 16.24 this afternoon (Thursday 8th July)
Firefighters used special equipment to cut him free, and he was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
He's said to be in a stable condition.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
